Never got in to Reddit really. When I upload, it gets shared to Twitter and G+ (for what that's worth).

Btw, spamming your videos across the web isn't a good strategy for the life of your channel.
Putting your content on your Facebook page and your twitter account is a really good idea

I have not had to bad of a response from reddit. While I agree its not a great strategy to continue as the channel gets larger. I do notice an upswing in views and comments when I do it.

Wrong. Nothing wrong with promoting your channel if you want to go down that route, nothing at all.

The sites I listed are target and not random. Mostly to do with motorcycles and video blogs. So far it has been working with not to much negative feed back. Was just wondering if I was the only one that did this.

So further to the conversations here I started looking at the data. It seems that posting to the other sites has definitely helped drive more views in the past 28 days. However im no expert in statistics or data mining so take that with a grain of salt.
