Okay, so what have you all done to mod your bikes, anything counts new lights, new muffler, hell a new seat? I am looking to mod my Scooter and I would also love some ideas,

My 2 stroke i did everything from 144 kit, to knife edge crank to bigger carb and carbon reeds, to blanked open powervalve to working powervalve, then on my cbrs everything from exhausts to air filters to carbon parts to brake levers to double bubble screens :P

The short list is; larger windshield on batwing, highway pegs, rider backrest & a guardian bell.

Loads of mods on mine; LED DRLs, reflective graphics, engine bars, pedal extenders.

However, I think the most important modification to my bike is Squish........ ;)

these are quite awesome, how much have you put into your bike mods?

Okay, I have been having issues with my mirrors on my bike, nothing is wrong with them they work fine, but if the bike so much is tipped over by some jerk or it lands the mirrors break off and I admit it has fallen twice once on gravel( I have gravel) and the other I thought my stand was down and it wasn't and it dropped (Yea, I'm dumb but my friend fell and I really wanted to make sure he was ok.) Does anyone have any good aftermarket mirror suggestions for a scooter?

I fell, so i built a new headlight bracket thing, and mounted new lights.
I painted the bike
Took out the cat, (Didnt make much if any difference)

Taking the cat out of a standard system mostly pointless, might make throttle responce smoother but thats about it. Same as when people only put slip on exhausts and expect power

Can you increase the power of a bike by changing the exhaust? Or at least increase it to make a real difference?

I've always wondered in this day and age of manufacturers trying to compete on the numbers to sell the bike that as they spend millions on R&D to make these bikes they may have made it the best they can already, although they do have to comply with regional regulations on things like noise.

An engine that breathes better (intake and exhaust) will always make more power with tuning. More air and more fuel per volume equals more power.

I changed my seat to a non-slippery one . I also removed the front indicators and wired them to the 2 smaller lights on the sides of the headlight.

That's all I am willing to do for something that breaks down every 20 days.

I see the logic, although a lot of engines work better with done back pressure, just makes you wonder why the multi billion dollar manufacturers build what they build if it's thst easy to make an exhaust with less in it and therefore cheaper manufacturing costs.

Not calling anyone out, but is the gain that significant and/or is it partially emporors new clothes?
