How To Stay "discreet/undercover"

I do not want my face shown on camera because some of the stuff I will be doing (I will be vlogging from atv's and they are illegal on streets where I live, We will need to ride streets sometimes) and some of the other things we do. So I need some ideas and things to look out for to keep my face from being shown and me being identified. Also I want the camera as unnoticeable as possible, Any tips? Or atleast be able to pretend its not recording.

And really don;t do what one fool did.

Videod himself speeding, pulling wheelies on crowded streets, and generally acting like a tool.

He uploaded the video to youtube.

Which ended by showing him riding home and putting his bike away in his garage....

Small camera like s Contour Roam or Roadhawk? Search for bullet cameras might do it.

However, the Police can track you if they really wanted to, so behaving like a douche or riding in regular areas will give clues. As Dan said, avoid group rides as it will show licence plates, your gear, you vehicle and any mods that make it identifiable.

remember you cant id someone on just their eyes.. (Balaclava's for bank robbers?)

The moment you upload to Youtube your IP address will give the cops exactly what they need.

if you use adsl, you have different ip's... if you upload from the office you have alot of coworkers using that too


in the end, how badly do the cops really want to chase you?

This is true. Doing something illegal is one thing, being a complete dick while doing is what will probably do it.

Alternatively, don't shoot video while you are on the roads. But if it is illegal where you live, the locals are probably more likely to come after you first than the cops

If you have to shoot mirrory surfaces and your face could be reflected, when editing put some blur on your face or use some memes to hide your face. I saw this in one of LeadPin's videos on youtube.
