Whats The Deal With Views Not Translating To Hits On Video?

I see the value of this sitemore as a sharing of information around biking and vlogging rather than an audience building mechanism. Successful vloggers' subs are completely made up of people who will never have heard of motovlog.com. Think of ourselves as the nerdy end of an already niche market lol
I agree with this. This site is a place to chat and learn about bikes and vlogging rather than a place to grow my channel.

And I agree with this agreeance.

This site has a lot of info if you search, but i dont generally watch a posted video unless its got something to do with a topic being discussed. Thats not to say that is what usually happens. People who generally spam their videos everywhere do get views and subs.

But subs mean nothing if they don't return I get 2/3-3/4 views:subs ratio. OK I don't have a lot of subs, about 150, but if you look at some with thousands of subs, they don't get the high view ratios. Not saying mine are exceptionally high, but it's better than some, and the engagement isn't bad either.

Never a bad thing! Maybe your videos appear in the search results for related keywords? Do you know how long they stay for on a given vid? I've not bothered working mine out yet as my vids are for me and I'm just happy that people watch and comment :)

hahahaha "the nerdy end of an already niche market" best way to describe us ever! hahaha

yeh i have like 670 subscribers but only get like 300-400 views on average so thats roughly what id count the actual subs as :)

Some of the bigger guys have over 100k subs yet on there best video only manage like 52k views so I don't look at subs at all. Whatever I get is what I gets...;)

Well some of the subs may just subscribe once and barely use youtube, orr they pay for those subscribers aha, but you go off the average view rate of videos to see how many active subs you really have, Its all an estimation though

Well when you get that far, you might get people subbing for something specific. Forgot who it was, they got a shit load of subs from a couple of reviews they did, and those videos had a viral amount of hits, but other than that, channel views for regular content stayed the same.

I have noticed that if you title your video with a litre sports bike and hint that you've done something dumb, or crashed it on a track, that's gonna get some hits!
