How Do You Guys Keep Your Channel So Tidy????

I'm trying to get everything set up and ready to release some videos but i can't get my channel clean. it shows videos i've liked or random videos in the history. what am i missing here???

[EDIT] Do yourself a favour, log out of Youtube then go back to your channel, what do you see now? [/EDIT]

Also check you channel settings. You can turn off a lot of that rubbish and set it how you want.

There should also be an option on your home page to "view as public". If you look at your playlists (your liked and history are here) you will see padlocks next to them, this is your privacy setting. Locked means private.

Your channel when logged in for your viewing convenience as much as it for you to publish your content.

With regards to playlists, you can create more private playlists, i have one for music and another for editing tips relevant to the editing packages I use.

I used the "Edit Channel Navigation." that fixed what i was looking at. then i set everything to priate/don't show, etc etc. that fixed it. i couldn't figure out how to delete this post after i figured it out, but maybe someone else will be able to learn from it. thanks for the help guys!

naw, it was posting it to the public. i went through a different browser (not logged into yt) and it showed up. i made a few changes and fixed it up like what i see on most people's channel. flows better now.

just looked at you channel, that's the look i was going for. all i had was a list of my actions. :uploaded videos, liked videos, watched videos, etc. didn't want that. you channel looks right though. keep up the good work, Mr. C

That's good to know, all I did is setup some playlists and channel navigation. I've not looked at anything more complex.

You could open your youtube channel in private navigation mode (CTRL SHIFT N in chrome, CTRL SHIF P in Firefox).
