What Have You Missed When You Forgot To Bring/turn On Your Camera?

Today I got rear ended while stationary at some traffic lights:

I had the GoPro in my bag rather than on my chin recording as I was going to make a vlog later

my batteries died in my camera when there was a 4 car accident that happen right in front of me and i just missed the cars. wife was on back of bike and it would of been so amazing to get it on camera. i was pissed when i saw camera was dead.

While coming back from a recent holiday, I was cruising through some farm lands doing a pretty decent speed

I heard a weird noise next to me, so i looked over and over the crops to my left was a crop duster, Probably 1-2m above the ground flying next to me

no one believes me....

I'm going to have to write my cameras to my bikes battery so i can record everything. Then trash the files I don't use.

I've just got the new cheap GoPro, might fit it on the front and power it from there. Shame it doesn't have a 720/30 option for longer recording time on the card.

I sometimes get a rare Premises187 moment of rage at a stupid driver, but its always off camera! The worst part is when I see someone on there phone, and I want to tap my camera and say, you're on camera idiot. But my camera is never there :/

It is a shame, but you do get up to 2 hours 50 minutes life on 720p60/1080p30, and you can connect a USB battery pack if you wish.

Yup the £99/$130 all new Hero without a number. 1080/30 and two 720/60 modes. One is super view but they're both 1280x720, so I've no idea what the difference is, one is meant to be "taller", but it's still 16:9? Not had a proper play yet.

Superview uses the full 4:3 sensor and compresses the top and bottom parts vertically to make it fit in a 16:9 ratio.

It's better for motorcross videos where you get a lot of vertical head movement. Just use wide view on regular bikes.
