Now we can't send messages on Youtube? I DON'T WANT TO USE GOOGLE+ JUST TO MESSAGE SOMEONE! not to mention that all the negative comments not go to the top lol. who else thinks this is garbage?

You can still message someone by clicking "Send message" in the About tab. The recipient can view it at YouTube.com/messages

Like you say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it . Too much fixing in the tech world now-a-days... and they say it's all for the betterment of the user - "A more enjoyable experience" ~_~ .....

...the internet was a better experience at a whole before websites like My Life started sucking up personal information about everyone on the net and otherwise... but that's a different topic for a different time ~

(and that's why you won't find a photo of my face on the net anywhere ~)

And Google, and every social media site or free email hosting that sells ads and demographic info.

Anyone believe any company that says they don't pass on personally identifiable data? For a few hundred bucks (maybe a few tens) you can buy a ream of credit card information.

We will always learn an adapt. Also the fact that we all pretty much need youtube.. We don't really have much option.

We need YouTube?! That's not true. No one 'needs' any video sharing sites if it comes to it, we just enjoy them. There's alternatives to YT, if YT can piss enough people off they'll walk. We'll complain like hell, but who will do anything buy just accept it?

you have vimeo daily motion and so on, but you dont get the subs there.

My involvement with YouTube has shrank to almost nothing this past year - mainly due to Google phucking it up. I can live without it, contrary to Google's beliefs.

I eat - often too much.
