Social tools impact (facebook twitter Google plus)

For those who use social tools, what is the impact for your views, subscribers and of course, more important, for yourself?

I'm currently thinking to create a FB fan page and use twitter to promote the videos but I want your feedbacks .

i see a bunch of fb pages i dont do the twitter thing. but on fb when someone i follow post a video it comes up on my dash i tend to watch it

I only just found out what fb was a few weeks ago.
I think the social media's will help if you use them properly. If you use them to spam yourself across the internet, you will probably develop some hate. If you use them to interact with your potential audience, they can help a lot. Its a lot of work but worth it if you have the time.
*actually, spamming probably does work fine, as long as you dont mind the hate*

get about 20 views more now...


twitter, very little action
just like my facebook page.(i dont link it to my personal one at all)

I hate facebook with a passion, and only have it cause its a way to keep in touch and see what my friends (which I see very rarely) are up to. You know, the original purpose of FB?

I created a fanpage on facebook so I had a way to talk to subscribers without having to do a whole video. Stuff like "hey, I lost a bolt on the motorcycle!", or "next up, Ill test the ktm1290 superduke". things like that.
But acceptance isnt much. around 10% of subscribers only. But its a more fun, simpler way to interact with fans.

I have the same problem!
The fanpage seems to be a good idea when you have a decent number of subscribers. may be I will give it a try later
