Motovloggers On Cruisers

I ride a 2006 Virago 250. Its cruiser style, but I reaaally want to switch to sport bikes. The only thing preventing me from selling my bike is the insurance. For someone my age (17/18) the insurance would be around 4000 USD or 2400 Pounds per year. This is a lot for me... so I'm saving up my money until I am around 20 for the expensive insurance, as well as a sexy motorcycle :D

Really that expensive? I've always thought it was a lot cheaper for insurance in Canada and the US?
From what I've read and understood is that, the vehicle must have insurance and anyone with the relevant license can ride/drive it. If this is the case than don't insure it in your name?

This is true, but my father rides as well. There is a rule that if there are 2 motorcycles in the household, and 2 riders, then each has to have a bike insured under their name. My father tried to insure it under his, but they told him that he could not due to my having a license as well.

I should be up and running shortly on my Fatboy Lo. Finally got my mic in today from Amazon.

I did catch a phone commiting suicide last night and it looks pretty good in slow-mo

if you ride a cruiser when you motovlog what is your youtube channel and what do you ride post it here
Honestly I don't know if my bike is a cruiser or not. Never gave much thought to that.

I don't think it's a sports bike. The engine is a two cylinder four-stroke, but not a V-twin.
They called it a Roadster and it'd be great for touring, does that count?

it looks like a mix between a cruiser and a cafe racer :p
I looked up your BMW R100R and it says cruiser. So I am trusting the interwebs :)

Yeah, I've heard that about it's looks. Cafe? Cruiser? Tourer?
I don't know.

It gets the job done.
By the way, I was going to ask the original poster why he was interested in cruiser motovlogs? Is it just because you ride/rode a cruiser or because you like they way they sound or something else?

So if we're trusting the web and it's some kind of cruiser, here is a short video that showcases the engines sound as I talk about the use of the rear brake to stabilize motorcycles at low speeds and about waving to other bikers.

Enjoy.
Constructive feedback appreciated.

i ride a dyna street bob and i dont find many cruiser vloggers
I ride a 2014 Honda CTX 1300. There is a video of it at:
. I am going to start vlogging when I get the rest of my stuff that I ordered this week, like the Hi Viz Scorpion EXO 900 Transformer helmet along with some other stuff like reflective pants, boots, and also the Sena go pro backpack. The current stuff I got is here for gear at:
. I used to ride a 1998 Suzuki Savage that was a p.o.s. with problems from the head gasket leak like at this video:
, and this one at:
. I eventually ended up taking the 1998 Suzuki Savage back to the people that sold me that p.o.s. and told them that they can keep their 174 dollar a week bike. I also used to ride a 2005 Honda Rebel that I made the mistake of trading that in for the 1998 Suzuki LS650.

I ride a 2008 Suzuki Boulevard M109R, though I recently bought a sports bike so my next few vlogs will pretty much be on my Ninja.

I know the feeling.. I had a Rebel 250 as well and I gave it up for a Helix.. Worst damn decision I ever made. The Helix is fine mind you...But the rebel was a fine little bike that I miss riding

Yeah, The Rebels are a great starting bike. I have never ridden a Helix before. Yeah the Rebel has it's little quirks for me, but I definitely loved riding it. I take the experience that I learned from the Rebel, and that other p.o.s. 1998 Suzuki LS650 and I feel like I have gained even more confidence with the current bike I have. :) It has close to 600 miles on it now, and I plan on taking it to Sturgis next Sunday. Are you going Deezil??

I Wish! We had some unforeseen financial issues come up regarding our house so the trips are cancelled for the next few years..

Does the Diavel count as a cruiser?

If it has saddlebags on it, it could be one, but not all cruisers have saddlebags that are standard. Some are sold without saddlebags. The saddlebags cost extra though, and the foot pegs are more at a sitting position where a sport bike, the foot pegs are a little farther back, as well as if it has a sissy bar or not, a comfortable seat, in my opinion. My bike I think is more classified as a sport touring bike.
