On April 20th, some of the other Oahu motovloggers and I are going to celebrate a birthday for a girl named Faith who has been fighting brain cancer for most of her life. She loves motorcycles but she cannot ride one due to her condition.

Basically if you guys could make a short video clip on youtube and post it in the comments so we can show her, that would be awesome! It would be great gift if she can see motorcyclists from around the world wishing her a happy birthday!

Mahalo! :D

Here's is the playlist of all the videos so far: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLP3I3rCiQ5kV27xkc7JeZF2tv055HCl7Z

Thanks all! Her name is Faith and she will be 20 years old this year. She has been fighting brain cancer for a good portion of her life. She doesn't have a preference of motorcycles but because she was able to ride pillion on my friend's bike, it has gotten her hooked and loves motorcycles.

This is also my assumption that because my friend is active duty military and lives on base housing as a neighbor to her, I am assuming her parents are military too. Because of this she doesn't have any friends due to moving around a lot and isn't even expecting a birthday or even cake that day! Here is a screen shot of the comments on the video from my riding buddy:

I would like to start out by saying Thank You to my bro IREV808, for doing this. It really means alot to me, and I know it will mean the world to Faith. To give you guys some info, Faith was diagnosed with childhood brain cancer at 10 years old. She was given a very low chance of survival, about 15 percent. Her doctors said that the cancer usually forms between the ages of 9 and 11. If a child makes it to their 11th birthday, then there is almost 0 chance of them aquiring this form brain cancer. Faith was diagnosed 2 months before her 11th birthday. She will be turning 20, on the 20th of April. She has had to endure numerous sugeries, and chemo. It has left her in a state that most people would think as a defect, rather than a survivor. She has had to learn everything over, from eating, to speaking to walking. Her balance has truly been compromised. Most people that see her walk, think she is drunk, or intoxicated in some way. What would be a simple walk to the end of the driveway for you and I, is more of an extreme event for her. She has a hard time speaking, as her muscles do not functio as they normally would. It is dificult for her to pronounce many words because her mouth simply does not want to cooperate. To look at her, you would think she was about 12 or 13. Her glands have also been affected by the treatment she has had to endure, which leaves her looking much younger than she really is. The only friends she has other than her parents, are my daughter, my wife and I. She doesn't get out much, due to her parents only having one car, and it is very difficult for her to be up for very long. With all that being said, this is one of the most amazing kids you could ever meet. She has a heart of gold, and an inner strength that makes even the bravest men look like scared little girls. She is not afraid to live her life. She is not afraid to stand up for herself, or those she cares about. She is the type of person that makes you want to be a better human being, just because you know her. She will never drive, she will never live on her own, and she will probably never marry. But that doesn't stop her. This kid always puts the people around her first. She is just a very insperational girl. So thank you, to all that have read this. Thank you for thinking of her on her birthday, and for taking the time to do something for someone you have never met. You have no idea what it will mean to her.

Thats a good idea. Irev808 has taken the reigns on this. I am Faith's neighbor. I'm setting up the party and all that good stuff. The great people in this community to include Irev, Kaz808hi, and Green Mo'o, have already gone so far past any expectations I could have had, that I couldn't posiibly ask for any more from them. I'm going to record the party for her, and then post it on my channel after that. It will give me a chance to say thank you to everyone for all the work they have put in.

@dandoolittle Here is most of the info that you can send out.

But yea @sweatiingbullets , I just wanted to help out you bro. This is mostly credit for you to help for you since you know Faith much better than I do. I don't have the youtube star power so I am trying to spread this as much as I can.

Thanks for that.. Have you guys thought about posting in reddit? They have a large motorcycling group there too.
Can maybe get a few more vids for her special day

I've thought about it, and as much as I like reddit, you know how reddit or even /r/motorcycles can be sometimes with trying to "help". I trust this community more than there since we all motovlog here and there is a better chance of a video being made for Faith. If anything I could try /r/motovlogging.
