looking around alot on this site ive noticed very few people say where they are from ( general area ), ive looked for motovloggers close to me ( albany ny ) and its hard to find one cus of the location secrecy- just wondering if theres a reason i dont know about ( cops or fandom ) or people just dont feel like putting it out there for everyone to see

I don't know what it is, other than possibly the cops catching you doing something using your own video or some crims wanting your bike. I noticed from the start that most people don't want their faces or their plates on screen - I don't care now, I'm too boring to be cop-fodder and no-one likes scooters outside of the big metropolitan commuting areas anyway so unlikely to be targeted.

Am sure there is a Meet-Up Forum section for the USA, there may be a few Albany folk on there you could contact?

Me personally, i dont want myself 'Duplicated' for fraud, plus i dont want ANY unwanted guests.
Thats why i dont have my suburb location, number plates, or any footage close to where i live.

Also i dont want the Police rocking-up, for me taking my POWERFULL RaceBike out up+down my street. (MiniGP bike lol)
It just rules out ANY possibilty of a 3rd party doin something stupid to you.

take a wooden ruler, break it in half... two halves make a whole... put your hole on the ground and fill it with bodies??
