Both of my parents ride motorcycles (dual sports). This is how I convinced them to start riding at the ripe age of 16. They even bought me my first bike (which I still have.) I am very fortunate, and I can't help with other people asking the inevitable "How do I convince my parents?" question because I have no idea.
