Im a 1st aider, so i respond
FAST to an accident...
- Ex apprentice and i were having lunch at a cafe, on a main street.
When a car driving normally down the road, somehow drove up the side of a parked car, then rolled.
Well i sent my apprentice to attend the passenger and I went to the driver, Whos hand i found, was hanging by the tinyest bit of skin. Both bones Snapped clean off. No main arteries were severed, so no gushing blood. (
insert Dracula 'dissapointed' smily face here) The driver obviously and instinctively, put his arm out the window as he rolled.
So i just, carefully placed it in a recovery position, with a temporary 'cover, steady+hold' type bandage.
Anyhow, the fact that he and his passenger were
High on crack and alchohol, probably saved him from ALOT of pain.
But inspite of that, we had to help. Till ambo's and Police arrived anyway, hand-balled it to them and walked away back to finish our lunch.
With my Bumpy and Bloody up-bringing, im not a stranger to Bruises, Breaks and Blood.
NO WAY in hell i'd be a Doctor, Nurse or Ambo tho. Absolute legends they are putting up with the shit they do.
