Pulse Adrenaline = Good for cheap and mucking about in winter?

I've always been rather anti-Chinese (bikes) due to them being a load of crap!

However I'm looking for a smaller bike for winters and knocking about in the back roads etc. I don't want to spend a massive amount as I won't bother with fully comp insurance etc - I'm expecting to chuck it around and drop it etc, it will be a fun bike where I can't take my CBR or ER5

What are your suggestions?

Just watched his review and FaQs about it! he had that machine 4 years before be crashed it. That's not bad for a Chinky import


They have a three year warranty (if paid for new)

If you can find one cheap enough that's been reasonably looked-after (or you don't mind doing a bit of tinkering yourself) I reckon it'd be fine as a muck-about bike

Aye just that :) There are a few roads round my way that have the odd cheeky woodland or field in the way ;)



Has to be road legal though as I can't be arsed with towing
 
whats your definition of cheap though? .. sub 200 ... sub 500 .. sub 2500?? ...

you could be secretly a scandinavian prince that owns a bog diamond mine .. and cheap would be anything without gold plated footpegs!! :p

The only problem I see with chinese bikes is that they can let you on foot in the middle of nowhere. Agreed, it can happen with any bike but the number of times it happens with a chinese is higher.

Why not something like a Honda XR 250/125 or a CRF? Or a KLX 150/250?
 
The original pulse adrenaline (which is actually another brand, the pulse is a copy) is sold here in Portugal as the i-moto.
We got the i-moto strada (the naked), i-moto tiger (the supermoto, same as the adrenaline), and another that I cant remember.
AFAIK, these are the ONLY chinese bikes worth buying. Sure, somethings might fall out, but its not "rust away in 3 months" from the li-fengs and jian-jian, and Generic-EU brands...

That's interesting thanks. I'm slowly moving back into Japanese bikes now
