I wonder what tags you use.

I always mess around and type in randomly what comes to my mind, but thats not very clever i guess.

It used to be much easier to figure out which tags worked because you could see other people's tags. It sucks now that you can't. It also makes it easier for people to get away with using misleading tags.

Here's what I used on most videos. I add video specific tags but this is my starting point.

Kryten,Suzuki,gsxr,gsx,gixxer,600,sport,bike,motorcycle,sportbike,motovlog,motovlogger,motovlogging,moto,vlog,vlogger,vlogging,Drift,HD,GoPro,Video Blogging,Motorbike,

I do:

Pre-sets: Bike I'm riding and where
Others: How I'm with (vloggers), the topic and related keywords
Max out the 50 keywords

Im the same, i use topic or Video related Tags.

I know their is more than 50, but i have a cpl of lists, depending on topic, I add them together, then i gotta get rid of the ones that dont apply.
As far as 'variations' of words, im on the understanding that Google will recognise all variants from one, eg- motovlogging' = moto, vlog, vlogging and motovlog? Am i right? or are the google bots lazy?

They do when ranking websites and Youtube isn't that far behind

I use Chrome.... not sure about the other inferior browsers.
Go to the video you want to know the tags for.
Press CTRL + U
Opens up new page of random stuff
Press CTRL + F
Search for "keywords" ... usually the second hit is the full list of tags.
Kibble and pasta.

I usually just use the same tags from my last video... don't think my tag list has changed since I got my SV.

You'd actually be surprised at some of the more popular videos only having like 4 or 5 tags. I just picked a random 10 million views video to find it has three tags... crash, bike, greece. I would wager that only 66% of those tags are effective.

I had tried viewing the source in Safari but it shows a totally different result. I'm not sure what's up with that. I think it's breaking it up by frames or divs or something. Chrome works really well. I think I might have to start using Chrome at least for things like that.

I wasn't crazy about the fact that Chrome wanted access to every personal piece of information on my computer. Sure let me give you unlimited access to my contacts so you can spam my friends. Better yet why don't you just take these kinky pictures of my wife and send them to my mom. Sheesh!

The ideal amount of Video accurate Tags is 16,

meaning if you have a engine rebuild video, 16 separate or combined tags will be more then enough.

youtube knows and your search won't come up as often i you have like 300 tags or whatever cause youtube search is a lot more accurate then it use to be
