Generic 64GB Micro SD Cards - Fake maybe?

I have 10, Class 10, Generic manufacturers Micro SD Cards they come with the adaptor to fit standard SD Card slot and a clear plastic carry case as pictured (if the upload worked?) these have been formated to a friends GoPro Hero 3 black edition.

No I have not why would that be a issue?
Let me say this when I got them I ran them thru my laptop( toshiba satellite), I wanted to make sure all the adaptor worked etc.. It showed 62.3GB available this is normal after firmware and drives installed at the factory any SD card or hard drive is going to show a little less, when they where put into the GoPro to format to the goPro it saw them with the same amount of space?

my friend that owns the camera has two 64GB Samsung (not sure if that is spelled right (just got up, on my first cup) please no grammar nazi's.) he says the space displayed is right that is about the same as what his cards show.

Also I take paypal, you have paypal buyer protection the only thing I would want if there is a issue is that you return the SD card to me.

I did some looking to this and found out the ones I have are 32GB they were supoose to be 64GB they say 64GB but when I put it in my laptop it says it is 32GB, so I got taken!!!
They still work just not 64GB so would sell them for $25 each including shipping 2 for $40 including shipping.

1) Download this.
2) Run a full test of a card.
3) Get back and post the results.

That program will test the card for capacity and speed.

This has some "good deal" potential and a little bit of "comedy" potential depending on the results.

I see nothing funny about this I know I got scammed but nothing I can do about it so it is not funny to me!

There's not much of a problem if you got fake cards, just test them, if the result is OK, sell them with pride and knowing you have a good product.
However, the world is full of fake storage media, that could be SD cards or Flash drives. I got a bunch of them myself. Sometimes they work (like with the fake 1GB Kinsgston SD card and fake 2GB Kingston Data Traveler I got) and sometimes they don't.
Last time I bought cards, they were at an amazing price, I could buy 4 samsung 32gb C10 cards for the price of 2 kingston 32gb C4 so I got them, tested them, they were 8GB cards with some firmware trickery and returned them to the seller, I got bad feedback on the e-commerce website I bought them from but got my money back.
If they are fake and you cannot return them and get your money back, destroy the cards, throw them away, there is nothing you can do to use the capacity claimed by the card or format them back to the original capacity.
The 32GB cards I bought were 8GB, they were class 10 but there was no way of using the good 8GB, the data will get overwritten at some point making the contents useless.

Also, since most of us are using SD cards to record once-in-a-lifetime moments, it's imperative to keep them in good shape, if you already sold some cards and you don't know if they are fake, inform your buyers, make them test the cards. Normally with big capacity cards you don't fill them in one shot so you won't know that the card is faulty months later when you fill them to the top and try to read the contents back.

If you don't trust the link I posted, search "h2testw" in google and download from cNet, Softpedia, Heise or anywhere else.

For what it's worth I tried to save money and buy a Nokia phone (high end at the time) .. From a guy at a 'Saturday markets' stall locally, saved myself over $450!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...... Even the box it came in looked pretty legit , it powered up ok, and made a call ok..... After about 12 hours I noticed the update button on the screen for the firmware update, started it running, wondered why the text box that came up was in Chinese but shrugged ... Update finished ... Whole phone went locked to Chinese text, menus, network ... Everything!! ... Looked closer ... Tried to get menu copy up on internet and 'follow the dots' to restore English etc ... Menu stopped 3 layers in... Back to market next Saturday.... Phone man mysteriously not there.... Asked around, found 3 other buyers also looking for him.... $350 each ... $1400 per Saturday?! .. Not a bad income I guess.... You just have to keep changing venue!!

So I get the whole wtf feeling that bikerboy would have! ...

If there is a program out there to do this I would like to get it and know if they are class 10, tell me the name let me see if I can find it or find it on a download host that is not a spammer trying to steal information, the government and NSA do enough of that.

I have downloaded the program, it is running a test on the first SD card now it says it will take 4 hours? It also is showing that there is 63984Mb on the card considering space for firmware that would make this a 64GB Card, so why when I stick them in my computer to format them does it say it is only a 32GB?

Anyway in a few hours I will post the test out come of the test, can I post a image here, does anyone know how, I would like to do a screen shot or snippet so everyone can see it?

Use Print Screen to take your screenshot, then open Paint (WIN + R, type "mspaint", enter), with the selection tool select only what you want to upload, then click "Copy".
Get back to the forum and in the reply box just paste using CTRL + V. After that compose your message and click post reply.

I know how to take a screens shot what I was asking is can I post a image on the forum? I cannot post a link here something pops up that says I have not made enough post and cannot post links until I make more post, more activity so I am wondering if I can post a image or will the site not allow me to?

Another reason this may take longer than it should is I downloaded the program to a stick so I could scan it and open it outside my laptop, but before I started running the program on the first card I did not copy or move it off the stick onto the laptop?
