While shopping I heard this announcement,

"Attention customers, if you ride a motorcycle and parked in row 8 in the parking lot then please come to the Customer Service desk."

Lucky or Unlucky me did not ride to the store this time. :D

I'd be grateful they gave out an announcement. A few years back, I went out the store, after doing my shopping, to find my bike on it's left side with the side stand still down. I had to lift the bike the wrong way to put the side stand up before I could stand the bike up.

Ouch! Did they have security cam footage showing who knocked it over?

Years ago, I had a 2-week old Vaquero, and when I got home from work and went to cover it, I noticed marks on the right-hand engine & saddlebag guards. I knew immediately what had happened. Workers at the place where I had a paid parking spot near work had knocked my bike over and stood it back up and walked away.

I rode back to work, found the marks on the ground where my bike hit, took pics, and told the lot owner. He was like, "didn't happen here". Uh, no, dude, it DID happen here. I brought a measuring tape and measured the distance between my guards and the marks on the ground and they line up perfectly.

I got a discounted spot for 2 months, LOL.

Dang. They should have given you your own spot with red velvet rope surrounding it for free.

The lot owner was a real PITA. And there were always unknowns parking there and blocking me in. I wouldn't have continued renting a spot there, except it was cheaper than paying for the city lot, and it was a lot closer to my office.

So yeah, no velvet rope was coming. In fact, when my work location got moved, I was happy to not set foot in that city again, outside of the occasional motorcycle ride down there.
