I saw this news story in my feed today. I hope it is playable worldwide.

For those it does not play for - biker gets yelled at by a driver. He asks the guy calmly what is up. The guy is captured on video saying the rider should not lane split and cut line. Then the driver chases the rider to the next intersection where the driver runs over the rider.

Luckily the unblinking eye of the camera caught it all and now the driver is facing an attempted murder charge.

Stay safe out there and remember to keep your camera recording at all times.

Modern society puts too much stress on people. I catch myself getting upset at stuff that I would have barely noticed 20 years ago.
edit:
As one of our artists wrote: No wonder people go crazy, when they don't have any animals and their own vegetable bed.

I and some others noticed an uptick in jackassery after the big COVID lock down. Is it due to not being around others? Being pentup? Or does the virus attack the brain's social skills area?

If it is the third then that makes sense for spreading. First infection takes hold and spreads through social connections. Then after spending around so long the virus makes the host want to move on elsewhere to spread in a new group and possibly combine viruses types. Think about if you do not get along with folks around you then you either leave or get beat down into submission by the group.

That reminds me, I need to buy more tinfoil...

Curious if the driver had been living in Cali for very long. lane splitting has been legal for a while now and was "permitted at the discretion of the police" since before I lived there from 2005-2009. no excuses to think going between 2 other cars to exact vigilante justice, hope the charges stick with no plea deal.

Probably the former, atleast in the case of the UK, can't say for definite elsewhere.

People were essentially locked up with only the internet, depressing "continuing dramas", and their partner and offspring for company... so basically just the internet, which we all know is a healthy and prosperous place for mental health.... except of course for a lucky few who were allowed out to work for their wage.

People learnt that internet speech had no consequence and anger had no limit. Some souls dared to brave the outside world against the wishes of the ruling class and were often financially punished for it.

Then eventually, as we were all finally allowed to roam the streets again, the least intelligent of us, about 50% of the population it seems, all made their way out on to the "empty" roads that had been reported to them gleefully by the media, eager to mingle with those who had been using them as their own private race tracks. All of them knowing, from their 'social interactions', that they are always right, no matter how wrong they are.
