I primarily love to ride. But it's a lot of fun playing with cameras and lots of brain damage playing with my Senas to make videos to put on Youtube. I challenge myself to become good at something new. I'm still a work in progress.

Bingo - C! All the way! The challenge is way cool!

I find a lot of joy out of figuring out new special effects, or adding in extra elements in my editing, and testing out different setups, and new efficiencies. When I look back on my first several videos compared to today, I am amazed I got any of them done... what used to take me 5+ hours now takes like 2.5 And the quality is much better IMHO, which just adds icing on the cake.

My moniker is partially a joke, but I have been riding mainly as an escape from responsibility for maybe an hour alone over the past month. No vlogs, no cameras, no mics and my wife on only two rides. It has been awesome!

I can understand that.
My video recording all but ended a couple of weeks ago. Going for a good hour or so ride without a topic or destination is good for the soul sometimes. (I really need to record/edit some more stuff or youtube might think I fell off the earth)
I opt not to ride to work because I don't want to associate riding and work, I don't know if that sounds weird. I wouldn't get into a ride enough to enjoy it on the way to work anyway, so I save rides for some mental escape time.

One other thing to mention is burnout is real.

I also have the editing fatigue once in a while, sometimes it is just a day or 2, and you can work around it.
But if it is a week or so it can f up schedule op plans

Yup, this is also real. After a week of crushing it in Resolve, putting out a video a day, I'll take 3-6 days off of editing to regain my focus.

This is where having a few videos uploaded and ready to go, is handy. You can take that much-needed break without screwing up your schedule.

My priority would be on enjoying the ride. Motovlogging or gadgets are ranked very very low in importance.
