Hi All,

So I have a 2021 Harley softail standard and have been struggling to get anywhere regards my stage 1 upgrade! Video highlights my correspondence with HD, Vance & Hines and what my next steps are. (Bear in mind this is UK legislation based issues).

Is any members have any advice more than welcome to listen and receive suggestions with wide open arms!

Thanks
John

Dang.
I can understand the delay on the FP3. A lot of electronic items are delayed due to the pandemic.
So the O2 sensor is the issue right? Is it possible to get older set of stock mufflers and have the bung for the O2 put in?
Then you could "tune" the pipes like musicians do for brass instruments. That would give you a set to slip on and off the bike as needed for noise and inspection purposes plus a set for sound like tone.

Tricky thing modding and keeping the warranty.

Yeah, basically I think it is very difficult to get HD to cover anything at all under warranty. At least, here in Ireland. A lot of my friends have struggled with this.

Have actually found someone who can do it outside of my Harley dealer, so hopefully progress is in bound.

regarding the o2 sensors, I think the ECU will still need flashed even if they are 'removed' or blanked off. Unsure though.

thanks

Everything motorcycle [and vehicles, generally] is backordered - I waited almost 3 months for a windshield for my Street Glide... a freakin' windshield!

Good luck getting it sorted!
