I agree that this would be a nice channel trailer.
Intros should be 2-5 seconds long or not at all. Especially with youtube putting more and more ads in videos. This 36 seconds would most likely start with an ad then be followed by an ad and the viewer wouldn't have even seen anything of the video to make them want to stick around to watch because they have already been into it for 45 seconds to a minute (depending on if or when they can skip the ad) and that is a turn off for most viewers.
Teaser footage or an outtake or blooper up front can be fun, I like to use those in some of my vlogs, but again, I don't set out to have those, if something works for up front, then I toss it in there. And a well placed How do you you do of some sorts and an actual introduction of yourself goes a long way not only with new eyes on your video, but can make for a more fun and spontanious "intro" to your vlogs.
