once i get my project bike in some stage of working i plan on it, but iv gota find a place to do it up here. it seems most forests n decent places to ride are privatly owned and expressly forbid anything with a motor on them.

2022 Aprilia Tuareg 660
I do,but in the summer months I mainly ride road, then in the winter my Beta 390 RR gets more action. I do ride it all year, but with C19 I have not been able to get out as much, and I also bust my wrist on it 2 months back so wasn't able to ride it.
I've been out on it a few times since mending, but had audio issues so have not done anything with that content yet.

Aye riding in Scotland is mainly ilegal which is such a shame, I used to have a lot of fun on my KTM when I was based up there in the RN

pretty disapointing, but i might just rogue it a little n plead ignorance, needing a decently quiet pipe for it, but it being a pit bike, they dont really exist... ill definitly need to watch if i ever get it road legal.....

I rode dirt all they way up until my Dad sold our bikes after we moved out of the house, it was a blast. My favorite bike was a 1996 YZ 250, with a rebuilt top end.

I've been kicking around the idea of finding a used dual sport for some trail riding. I think it would be a great way of adding some variety to the channel.

I used to when I was young, but haven't for the best part of 20 years... with the puchase of a cheap offroad bike I am hoping to start again.

I just need to figure out where I can actually ride offroad around here - I assume there's some map tools or whatever which show you where?

OS maps are your friend, and if you are struggling, try contacting your local TRF :)

There isn't an app. Look on your County Council's website for its 'definative map' and adjust the layers to show greenlanes and adopted roads. Check for TRO's that may be in place. The TRF is good info and GLASS have a map showing greenlanes and UCR's and their legal status.

Did some "offroading" on a loaner "bike" today.
In roughly 2 weeks i will get a loaner bike that is more suitable for offroading, so will definitely try to do some then :)
