I used to but all it shows is that a small useless boring car would make more sense economically.
Ain't nobody cares about that !

I have actually used it as one of the reasons why it was smarter to get a newer bike. ;)
More economically friendly on the gas :)

i know i can get pretty decent mpg when behaving on both bikes..... the nc on paper gets something stupid like 80-90mpg, and if you trickle along at low revs thats possable, its just not quite as fun,

pretty sure i calculated something like 60-70 on the sfv when just motorwaying it, was tired as hell n strictly behaving. so it shows, dont care to know what i actually get. i know its still less than my car unless im spanking the tits off it.

I use an APP called Drivvo to keep track of my refuelings, services, and expenses. When keeping track of your refuelings you get nice reports too. These reports break down the cost, volume, type of fuel used, and can create a bunch of different charts. Here are a few screenshots below.

Sorry if this post is taking up quite a bit of space, but I really like this app and wanted to show you guys some pictures of it. : ) I am not a developer of this app nor do I get commission if you start using it. It's just really handy, and in the USA , it helps me with my taxes (for my business car mileage). Your taxes may vary depending how your tax structure works. But this APP also helps me break down business vs. personal miles.

Old Honda did 18km per Litre.
Old car did 20km per Litre.
And on Paper the XT could do 25km per litre.

So it was a good way to help motivate for the new bike ;)
That is does 21-24km per litre now is a different story xD
New car still does 21-22km per litre, so still is less efficient ^^

Both my bikes will show the average and current MPG but I never look at it. I've never actually come across anyone that cares what MPG they are getting from their bike but I guess if you commuted on one it would be relevant. The last time I worried about it was in the late 70's when I rode a bike to work and it was my only form of transport :D
