Appreciate the share as well.

Denver has daily protests and a 9 pm - 5 am curfew currently. There is also a peaceful protest planned for 7 pm tomorrow and I was debating trying to get some of it recorded. The nugget on video/images being protected, but not audio, is useful. The phone search is also good to know (did not know they needed a warrant).

I've also seen some police videos of the "am I free to go, officer?" and if no, "what crime am I being suspected of committing?". Guessing those are good phrases to have in your back pocket per the article.

Good find R-Rated. To add to that, one of our fellow motovloggers with a big viewerbase posted on Patreon that he was charged with resisting arrest and thrown in jail for 3 days while recording the protests unfolding in Chicago. Seems the cops aggravated him first, but didn't matter. So for sure hope everyone out there stays safe and is prepared.

I enjoy making satire out of things like brexit and went as far as making a few jokes about COVID-19, but trying to get content of 'protests' and stuff is best left to the journalists.

I agree, especially getting that close to the action. Even here in the US a national news channel had their crew arrested while broadcasting live. There have been actual journalists pepper sprayed, tear gassed, and even shot with less than lethal rubber bullets despite being with the cameras.

However, if I were to be caught up in or happen to witness something then based on my former career, the unblinking eye of the camera is the best to see what is happening and share with others.

The challenge is where to draw the line on how far is too far. Another challenge is if a motovlogger's definition of a line is the same as the person who can detain and charge the motovlogger with "something".
