You'll get used to it, I used to hate my voice but now I don't even care anymore :)
My english even sounds better than my dutch, kinda like I have a speech impediment or something in my native tongue.
@Meifesto you have that problem too I see, and being the gate closer on group rides, how else are you getting nice content about your ride if the only thing that you see is headlights in your mirror and cars in front? ;)

Honestly since recording motovlogs and uploading a few of them I've started being more aware of how I speak all of the time. Hearing and analyzing myself has revealed to me how I sometimes talk too fast and don't enunciate like I think I do.

Maybe it just the Dutch language then xD
Although some US people have said they find the Dutch accent sexy....

True, for sure.
I like to be in different spots. But when you organize grouprides often you are upfront.
I have the feeling this year, even down the lockdown is happening, there will be more grouprides, as there are more motovloggers out and about ;)

I can agree that Americans find Dutch accent sexy. I have seen less group rides here in lockdown. Cops are fining everyone that is not doing anything important past 6pm

I'm afraid that the riding to ride will be illegal here as well during lockdown.
Some riders have been making some negative press the last weekend, sadly enough. And i anticipate, ruined it for everybody else :(

I hated it too, but by the time I finished my first video I was so proud of it my satisfaction outweighed my self loathing LOL
Second video was the same. but a little less. I'm sure by the 4th or 5th video you'll hate your editing program more than your voice :D :D

Your voice is fine. No worries. Everyone goes through that phase of self-conscious reflection, until we discover our voice - visual and audio tone and style when you create your motovlogs. Once you're comfortable in your audio 'skin' things get easier.

Give it time chap, what is it you don't like? A couple of my friends have told me I speak different in my videos, I hadn't noticed that myself, but I often feel far more confident, and therefore enthusiastic when on my bike, which may sound different to them. If there is something you don't like and can't get used to, try changing it, but we can all still assure you, that we all had the same issues when we first started, and just got used to our voice! :)

Same as i hear a difference between my Dutch voice and my English voice.

And the fact i can speak quite alright English inside my helmet, but when needed to talk English to a customer, all of the sudden my vocabulary is halved xD

I have the same problem, but not with Dutch:). In your head you can say it perfectly, but when you open your mouth its like your mouth doesnt know how to say it.
