I recently got myself the new GoPros but hadn't had a chance to play with them until this week:

Cheers mate I think most of the comments on it are from subscribers rather than new viewers. I love the interaction with the other channels, I sub to most of them too and enjoy the content they create. A lot of the time YouTube is a networking game, so to increase interaction on your own channel it helps to interact on others.... as they get to know you they will be more interested in your content!

I think that's the biggest thing I'm learning as a new motovlogger. Thank you for the invaluable advice, HippoDrone. Sometimes I swear you must get paid to post on this site - you're super switched on.

@DB Moto , I Agree with everything he said! I will also add that if you make constructive comments like " hey that camera takes amazing footage what are you using?" or something that fits the video you are commenting on others that watch may be interested in checking you out as well. Whatever you do don't link anything or leave comments to the effect of hey check me out (unless the channel owner asks you to), this usually doesn't sit well. You have good editing vision and your words flow smooth and natural while talking to the camera. Once you get your motovlogg audio sorted you will be fine mate. It is not an overnight growth model, it is for the long haul.

Thank you RideOnTwo - that feels good to know! I know exactly what you mean about "check out my channel". As someone who would upload a video, I would personally feel uneasy with comments like that.

The idea of commenting on others' vids is a great one, and of course isn't purely self-serving - it would be good to shift focus onto others to learn more. Being in it for the long haul was where I fell short last time, and I'll be sure to not make that same mistake again
