Morning,

I have just got my 1st cheap motovlog set up sorted and heading out tomorrow for a decent ride.

Are there any tips that you lot can give for this 1st outing? I'm not expecting ET level Spielberg stuff, just whether you should have a defined idea in mind or just let it go on and see what you have afterwards.......

Anything appreciated.

Mornin' man,

There's actually a great threat on this
share a noobie vlogging tip

And I prefer to have a topic and a rough idea of what I will be saying before I ride but after I'm done with that topic I just riff on stuff that comes to mind or if I stumble onto something or somewhere I want to feature I run with it. If it ends up working then cool, but if it doesn't I at least have the topic I planned tackled.

While you get used to talking to yourself out loud, you can just wing it, but try to have a defined start and finish, start with a basic intro, and end with a basic outro. I often see vlogs which just kind of start out of the blue with no context or engaging "hi" or "bye" at the end. Also when editing, try to remove gaps in your talking that are too long, unless you are on a really awesome road or view. :)

Hippo said almost everything, i'd add that you must develop a topic you want to talk about, and while editing use some pics, gifs, sounds to emphasize the main ideas
