hello guys!! anyone got his video mute due to copyright law? i want to use a song whose composer is not known ( he is not michael jackson) but decided to be represented by a european copyright firm...they ask for

250,00€ for a 1 month term.
500,00€ for a 6 months term.
850,00€ for a 1 year term.
1200,00€ for a 2 year term.​

ha ha ha....i am just an amateur with 400 views on average...

I'm with Meifesto - find free music and reupload. Youtube has a whole section of stuff that works, or if you have a feidn that makes music use their stuff with their permission or search around the web for free, open source sites to get music from.

You will have to remove the music if you want audio, as said, if you can re-upload it with different music or no music

These will no longer be handled by myself. And he refers you to the company.

i contacted them cause the music has really inspired me to create a video. It is not actually a motovlog but a travel vlog video and I will upload it here as well so that you can watch it. I want to dedicate it to solo fem travellers like me and empower weak women, so it is important for me to have this song since it has influenced me. On the other side, I respect the composer's will to bind his music with a company...It is a really nice song and should be paid and get attention but I am an amateur with few views and the money they ask is beyond reality....so let's see..maybe i will upload it with respect to the composer and then take it down and cover it with another song...

It might be worth looking to see if that song is blocked in any countries by YouTube too as that will limit your audience if it is!
