Suggestion - Status updates should allow images.

With a cap on image size of course. But I'd be more inclined to post updates when I can attach an image, just links are a bit boring and not as engaging for whoever reads the update.

If storage and traffic is a concern, limit the imagery to embeds using BBCode or something.

Makes sense now - Images in statuses will never happen, it will take focus away from the forum - No reason to post in the forum if you can on a status etc

That's fine, I just find some things too mundane or trivial to make a thread for but still interesting enough for a random update. But if you have considered it I'll leave it at that.

If it was something people used more I’d most likely offer a better solution.

Although I’ll have a look to see if there is something that could bring profiles into the forum a bit more but not promising
