So made a boo boo today. Starting to get more confident making motovlogs again and today was going to be a great vlog. Finally had the weather to take the Fireblade out and was having fun chatting away to myself and having a good laugh recording a new motovlog. I couldn't wait to finish work after thinking about how I was going to edit the video as it was such a good laugh recording it.

but...

Who was the muppet who pressed the record button twice!? This plum!!
So I only manage to record 2 seconds.

Has anyone else had a good story/event happen when you think you are recording but later to find out not a single thing was recorded?
Please tell me, I need a laugh as I am raging!

Wow! Maybe you could salvage the project by doing this?

Open with the short clip you got then use a static transition into creating a reenactment using action figures and bad animation. Embellish the ordeal with some strange story about things such as EMPs and alien abduction. Sell the episode as to why the good part of the motovlog is missing.

I've never done that, but I have failed to turn the audio pack on. One time I was able to salvage it with audio from my riding buddy's sena and laid that over my vid.

I have done similar, I forgot I had turned my camera off so then proceeded to turn it on when I wanted to stop recording and then off when I next wanted to start recording so lost a whole wedge of footage.

I've done that, and I wanted to ride on a specific bit of road, while recording. So I just rode there, did not bother going back all the way home, and then returning. Would have taken couple of hours probably.

I've only ever done that with my drone. I don't take them out of the cameras.

I've turned it on gone in my way had singing happen that I wanted to rewatch to only find I hadn't hit record.

Audio on my last accident when I slid on ice the sd card was full just as I turned onto the road. Would have been nice to watch

Just done it coming into college. Taxi cut me up just after I called it. Wanted to rewatch the clip. Hits the button to stop recording and all of sudden it starts recording

I've gotten home after a nice ride, hit the button to stop recording. Then noticed the camera recording. Idiot.
