San Diego bike rentals

I am going to be in San Diego next week for work, and am going to stay a couple extra days for myself and thought renting a bike would be a great thing to do. Is there anybody in that area that could recommend a good place to get one? Im looking for a sport bike, as I am a cruiser rider and want to try something different.

interesting. Makes me a little nervous renting a private citizens bike though. Might be better than a rental place though too, as some people beat on rentals and may not on a privately owned bike.

Ill have to look into this more.
