Kudos to him for being friendly and not escalating the situation. Given when he left the area he spotted a cop, she probably already called the law on him.
Also, points to him for not doing burnouts or racing around the joint like a madman. That type of behavior really makes us riders look bad.
Garrett should have stopped right in front of the shop after doing a wheelie for the young ladies and chatted them up. I bet it was that wheelie that caught the older woman's attention.
industrial area? Nope, security looks at those places, so you get arrested for trespassing
Dead end road? Nope, Thats a public road where you can get charged for dangerous/reckless driving
parking lot that no ones using? seems like the better option
