State Of The Community

Hey there, I believe some of you may know me - but in case you don't - I used to vlog a few years ago and had a ton of fun. I really miss the community, sharing videos, etc. and randomly have been trying to search around YT and here on this forum to try and get a feel of what the motorcycle vlogging community is like now.

So that's my question for you, really. Can you please describe the motovlogging community right now? Is there a group of vloggers that post and interact with one another on a regular basis? Who is currently the "#1" most subscribed motovlogger? Who is massively growing these days (in terms of popularity)?

Thank you and eat rice. ;)

Why don't you rejoin the community again and vlog some more?

The nr1 right now I think is Walterrific. Him, Motonosity and Chaseontwowheels have a sort of joint podcast series where they talk about everything and anything motorcycle/motovlogging related. Aside from them I don't think many other "BIG" vloggers have a similar projects that they work together on. Aside from just random dual vlogs like BakerXDerek does with ArsonRides or Suburban Delinquent.

The bigger vloggers are becoming bigger and bigger, can't really say if there is like a "medium" sized channel who has grown exponantially of late.

I've become a little disillusioned with the motovlogging community and took a step back from it recently.

To me it feels like everyone is out for themselves and stepping on others rather than having fun and being a supportive community, especially the big boys.

I tend not to be involved in the community these days as I'm not interested in "drama", and just make the odd video when I feel like it.

I feel that with smaller MV's there is a very tight knit community. I don't expect "Mega-Popular" MV's to really fully interact, nor can they when there are 100's-1,000's of comments on their videos regularly, and I'm ok with that because that's gotta be insanely hard to try and keep up with. But if you get into contact with people close and not so close to you, you can sure have a tight knit community. You don't have to be "friends" with everyone per say, but try and support all who do this, so long as they're not douches.
