Tyre Edges?

Find a quiet open area (preferably private) and do figure eights. Wait, I think I'm thinking about gymkhana. LoL.

 
I have no chicken strips and Im a crap rider...

Just go too fast into a corner and they'll be gone by no time :D
 
If it really winds you up, ill do it for you, but you still haven't done it so whats the point. If your mates are winding you tell them to F off and grow up.

No, it seems the whole thread has got out of hand. No mates are winding me up and I enjoy the banter on here. Just wanted an extra bit off edges so I don't get any nasty surprises on sharp bend, that's all really!!
 
Once its gone through a couple of heat cycles and 50 miles they will be fine, unless you have bought some Chinese tat of tyres that use oil as release agent you will be fine. I have friends who go on track days who dont use tyre warmers get there knee down on the first lap.

I am sure having chicken strips will be the last of your worries if you come in too hot on a too tight of a bend.

Proper riding > tires with an unused portion

Yeah Nah Yeah, one day ;)

I've got some shiny bits but It's really risky to break the speed limit here.. like loss of licence when you get caught doing 40kmh over (25mph) kind of risky, and I'm too broke for the track xD Doesn't bother me though
