What do you regard as biking fashion faux pas?

Red leathers on a pink bike? Fireblade jacket riding an R1? Non branded gear?

Let's hear them all, big bears up to full on fashionista comments, we're taking squids as read, so no need to mention them

I wore home depot contractors gloves
I wore motorcross body armor underneath a hoodie


then i saw videos of people with road rash and injuries because of not having proper gear.

I still can't justify paying full price for Dainese / Astars and the $800 to $2500+ stuff.

No, but there are other non branded but proper gear makers around.

Over here there are EU standards for gear, and you can buy non-branded stuff for 10-25% the price of the top brands. My first jacket was CE, had all the armour and was waterproof (ish) and was £45.

Not a fan of the hemet mohawks, but i still don't understand why anyone would ride in flip flops. How is it even comfortable shifting let alone the damage caused in a crash.

I've shifted my bike into neutral with flip flops to move it around the driveway, and I honestly have no idea how anyone could ride like that. Even a short ride would chafe my toe to the bone

Funniest Ive seen was a bloke looking cool on his bike as he is coming along, nice bike, fancy helmet, leather jacket...get closer, shorts and thongs....wtf?

Around here, its a sportbike, some Ninja 1200 wearing either Nascar jacket or a hoody and always sweatpants and running shoes. They all do it. Comfortable, but safe on a 1200 thats probably more bike than they can handle as evidenced by their freeway driving.

I don't mind them at all but I think some dislike them when riders are attempting to look like Police. Anything that makes people just be more aware is a good thing.
