Where Does Your Bike Sleep?

I used to have to keep 'er in this prison cell! AKA storage unit... but I was afraid the bike would not like sitting in a 150 f (estimated lol) steel box with 100% humidity (actual) very much during the summer so I had to move 'er to my sisters garage one town over. :( I envy you who get to keep it in your house! lol

She gets garaged with the cars. Not as lucky as my last bike which lived in the dining room.... she would have still, but didn't see how I could take on a flight of stairs in my new place. :)

If someone wants it bad enough, they are going to get it. Everyone in my neighborhood knows I have a nice bike and that I keep it in the garage. It's really not hard to break into a locked garage and cart everything out into a truck. Hell, I've walked into peoples' houses before when they were home and stood behind them while they were watching TV and they never even looked up. I wasn't there to take anything. In one case I was looking for my date's house and accidentally walked into an identical house one street over. In another, I was checking out a rental house and was unaware that the previous tenants were still living in there. I contemplated jumping out and yelling "HELLO!" but thought better of it and backtracked and left.

Haha I actually do. She thinks its a good idea it stays inside. It just has to roll back a few cms so we can see the TV when watching a movie on the bed.

She says my bike is my true love since I apparently give it way more attention. I mean I COULD polish and clean my girlfriend every day but don't think shed enjoy that...

When my girlfriend found out that some people keep their bikes inside the house, I was told, in no uncertain terms, that there would be NO bikes in the house, EVER! I personally think a pretty bike is nice decoration :D

Ah, the joys of living in a place where people don't lock their doors

Seems crazy to me. Neither place was a particularly bad area, mostly property crime, but not so great that you should just leave your door open. Bad stuff can happen anywhere!

I have family in Canada that lost the key to their front door 35 years ago. Obviously they haven't locked it since XD
