In the garage squeezed between the cars. I practice my filtering skills every time I put it in.

My bike is satin black so any rain drops, water, dust etc shows up immediately... Its a hard life to look good :P I park my bike inside then wipe it down every night. But then my car is sitting outside covered in dust and grime. I only drive it maybe once a week in summer.

So I have a really small apartment at ground level. I wheel my bike inside every night and it sleeps right next to my bed....

Any one else have funny/ cool storage for their bikes?

Don't have a girlfriend do you :p

I also live in an apartment. No garage, and second story. So my bike shares a parking space under a roof with my gf's car.

Haha I actually do. She thinks its a good idea it stays inside. It just has to roll back a few cms so we can see the TV when watching a movie on the bed.

She says my bike is my true love since I apparently give it way more attention. I mean I COULD polish and clean my girlfriend every day but don't think shed enjoy that...

I keep mine in the garage, hooked to a battery tender when I'm not riding. Back in the day, when I had my Harley and lived in a high bike-theft area, I kept my bike in the kitchen. That way if someone wanted it, they'd have to get past my German Shepherd and my .12 gauge.

Why tell anyone where and how you store your bike? Especially what security you use on it? Really does confuse me.

I never said whose garage ;)

Long and short, most people keep their bikes at home. You need to know where their home is. We all put our bikes on YouTube or on Facebook/Instagram etc, and from these sites you can work out an area where someone lives, and you could be followed. Whether you park it on the street or bolt it to the heater at night is a bit immaterial. If your bike is going to be stolen it will be most likely down to the local oiks.

I know. I still think you shouldn't really post where, what and how you store your bike.

I agree, as with anything online you need to consider your privacy and security, you just need to weigh it up against the accuracy of your info and in our cases, how big our town is. If you ride a popular bike, and your online presence suggests you live in a small village you may have given out too much without saying anything. But living in London and keeping your bike is a garage isn't anywhere near specific enough to target any body.
