Uk Flooding?

I hope you've all been spared from the floods.

Been pretty bad up my way and some of the low lying main roads I use to get to countryside have been impassible, while one of the main roads in Leeds became a river.

Seen it on the news. Looks pretty bad. Been mostly dry up here today. Even heard of few bikes out having fun :(

How about some solid ice?
Got 10cm of snow today, hopefully I'll get enough to ride the snowmobile soon. (is a first motovlog on a snowmobile acceptable?)

Surprisingly it's annoying to see how many people didn't have insurance etc.

Gonna sound like an ass but who moves or lives in a flood risk area, but doesn't buy insurance?

It's a fair point, although I believe insurance on a flood plain can be crippling, if you can get insurance at all.

A small retail park on tje Kirkstall Road got flooded - they've just built it as well. Quite why hhry didn't incorporated some sort of defence I don't know.

Its bad, even down south some of my roads in wiltshire have been closed.

Was in Staffordshire last week, The rains just started and the place was looking like it was ready for Noah and his gang

You Brits are not the luckiest

and out of the 7days i was there, I only got rained on twice...

first time for 3 days, 2nd time was 4 days long.

I sure I saw the forecast for today saying it was going to be a full sunshine day..... I must have dreamt it. At least it shouldn't rain... until this evening. Quite a bit of rain we're having eh. Hopefully summers going to be spot on, or maybe should find a country with far less grey days.
