Ubisoft Support

Has anyone had to use Ubisoft customer support and what was your experience?

So far I've had to contact them twice, and both times they have been THE most useless company I've ever had to deal with.

Never had to deal with that one.

However look at it this way if a company has excellent customer support does that mean they got good at it because their product is crap and they get lots of calls, or do they actually care.

They say they'll be in contact within 48 hours. First time I contacted them it took over a month to get a reply. This time it's been 6 days. Posted on their FB page and was told that someone from the support team would be in contact shortly. That didn't happen for another 24 hours and even now I'm still waiting. Now if they didn't force UPlay down everyones throat it wouldn't be so bad.

They must be busy then.

What product are you having a issue with. Is there some strange reason google cant solve the issue for you.

Except for Comcast, they just simply do not care :)

Worst ever for me is Time Warner Cable, followed closely by AT&T. Never dealt with ubisoft. I did deal with Drift customer support and they did help me even though the person I talked to had an attitude. I just stayed cool and polite, though, and got what I needed. That usually works with call center people. I used to work in a call center, so I know how to talk to them.

I used to work as front line customer support so dealt with people via phones, email and face to face. I'm always polite to people as I know most of the time it isn't their fault. The main issue I'm having with Ubisoft is they literally DO NOT respond to anything.

My copy of R6 Siege was activated on the wrong account due to an auto-sign in f*** up so I've requested for it to be transferred across which is something they are able to do. If they ever respond that is.

If you bought the game through steam, you can request for a refund.

It was given to me as a gift (not a steam gift, just the code) and when I opened up UPlay it signed me in and took me straight to the product activation screen. Had no reason to think I wasn't signed into the correct account as I forget I even had 2 accounts. Haven't played a Ubisoft game in a looong time.

But not all is lost. Ubisoft are allowing people to play Siege for free this weekend so nabbed a trial code off a mate and have activated that on the correct account while I wait for Ubisoft to transfer my full retail copy.
