How Do You Get People To Find Your Youtube Channel?

This may be the right forum section for this. If not, let me know. (I'm knew). ANYWAY...

I have started my channel and have uploaded a couple of videos. But I realised that there is very little chance of people finding my channel.

Now what are the best ways to get people to find you without having to spam? I really don't want to do that, it's like begging. Any advice is brilliant

Thank you

Motovlog videos are like marmite.... and as such it is hard to know if, when or who yours will appeal to.
I just put up stuff that I (at least) have enjoyed creating.... guess that is why no one else watches them...:(
I've seen some really shit stuff get thousands of views within hours but then obviously its just me that thinks its shit as plenty of others don't.
I think as long as you have enjoyed creating the video then don't worry too much about anything else.... unless of course you are trying to go full time youtube vlogger ect.....in which case follow the more helpful advice posted by lurch...:)

The only other thing I think that has helped me a little is being reasonably regular with your releases. That way I think you might have more chance of being noticed by people.

That said I still have bugger all subs (I'd say all of them have come from this site also) but I do notice a increase in views.

Join the facebook groups,
Post your vids where ever you are allowed to,

Also, start talking to other vloggers, Get involved in the hangouts that happen. Post comments, become friends.

Or just hand out business cards like walteriffic does

Hot girls, Crash Vids and New Bike Reviews get the traffic provided you have good keywording. If you want mindless viewers this will get you traffic. If you want cool people to interact with then networking might help there.

I post on here and I post on my FB page and tag people. FB tries to squash original content and force you to pay for their scam "promotion", bu tyou can subvert that somewhat if you tag people. Just make sure they're OK with being tagged.

Networking is important, but so is regular, good content. Unless you have something that will go viral (angry cops, crash, boobs, crazy people attacking you) you just have to be patient. What's worked really well for me so far is joining a facebook group and commenting on other motovloggers' videos as much as possible. I've had pretty big youtubers watch and comment on my videos because I interacted with them.

There's also always subscriber spotlights. Lots of people are doing those these days
