Youtube Subscriptions

Brought this up a while ago, but thought why not again

So I just went through my youtube subscriptions and removed anyone that I havent heard from in around 6months.
Sadly that was around 50 channels.

Im sitting on about 90 now, of which 70 are motovloggers.

Whats your ratios like?

More than a 3 second intro and I avoid the videos to be honest. I have far too many subscriptions and that is one way to cull them.

Im similar because when I first started watching Motovloggers I had no idea where to start so I sub'd a few channels that others had sub'd to. after a few months I had an understanding and discovered I didn't watch a few due to content etc

It just goes to show you how unimportant subscribers are.

I'm sub'd to about 300 channels, about 90% motovloggers. I watch all their vlogs unless I'm too busy. Don't always have time to comment though.
If they don't upload for a year then I usually unsub, although there are exceptions. It makes it easier to manage the channels I am sub'd to.
If I find myself skipping a channels' videos because I'm losing interest or they upload too frequently, then it's time to unsub.

Let me go and check on my list now.. Nope, ain't nobody got time fo dat. LoL. Does it really matter to unsub if the channel goes dormant? It's not spamming your news feed so why bother? I would unsub from something if I find it is no longer having content I would be interested to watch at all, so that it doesn't fill my news feed. Otherwise I wouldn't bother with my sub list at all. I don't see the impact of a "well maintained" subscription list.
