How's this for a custom title?!?!
so yesterday was easily the best day of my life. My father and i have always had an ~eh~ relationship due to my past. Over the last 5 years ive made insane transformation and he is finally wanting to spend time with me. Ive owned my klr since late 08 and its touched dirt, but never like yesterday. I told my dad id really like to build a relationship with him, but we dont have much in common. Except motorcycles. I talked him into getting a drz, i regret nothing nor does he.
Last week he purposed a group trail ride with a couple of his work buddies. It was a BLAST! Given that i was completely new to it, unsure about the lines i should take, i didnt drop the bike once! I had a few close calls but didnt drop it! Luckily i was recording the whole ride, it was a total of 6 hours, roughly 100 miles of trails. The best part was, my father saw me in a new light and i saw him in one. We are already planning the next and i feel like he is more excited than me haha.
If you dont own an enduro, get one. You will not regret it one bit! I refuse to not own one after yesterday. I got taste of dirt, and im addicted. Still gonna get a super sport cause i like the twisties, but this was hands down the best experience of my life.
Just wanted to share this with the world, i dont really have anyone to tell haha. A few of my close friends know, but thats about it.
