Youtube Subscribe Button Problems.

Hey guys Happy Easter

Whenever I put the subscribe button in my youtube vids it looks fine when the window is small, but gets distorted when at full screen. I use the note annotation if that matters at all. Any suggestions on how I can fix this. Thanks.

How are you displaying the "button"? If it is a screen grab then maybe you have made it too small and pixelly?

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I add it after I upload the video. I go to video manager than annotations and put a note. It looks fine until I go full screen. In full screen only part of the box is colored in.

I'm not following this...

Can you post a print screen, it almost sounds like the Note box isn't sized properly...

Sure thing buddy. The first one is normal size and the button is fine. The second one if full screen and you can see the color is messed up.

Thanks Arctic Pride! I'm half an idiot on a good day. I guess it was Safari. Firefox doesn't have the problem.

Once I get my logo made I'll use the watermark option. That will make it easier. Thanks again.

Would be easier to just use the YT annotation, I think. But if you want a fixed button I don't think I can be of any help at the moment, never had the desire to place buttons yet.

*Edit: Perhaps using the annotation option that is transparent then you can drag it bigger overlap across your button.

Thanks SighBored. I worked it out. ArticPride suggested to try a different browser and it turned out that Safari was messed up. The update that came out today seems to have fixed it. I am going to try something different for my video tomorrow. We'll see how it works out.

I tried embedding the subscription button in the video instead of using Youtube annotations. Just wanted to get your thoughts. I still have to link it though youtube, but its a nice way to make a custom button.

This might help mate.

I made an overlay using GIMP where I have a background layer and add over everything I need. Have you tried making an image using the same size as your video resolution and putting your subscribe button on it then adding in the image?

Not yet. I see some motovloggers with a screen at the end of the video with previous video link, sub button, etc. I still need to make a logo for my watermark lol. I'll get there soon. Thanks for the help RealRider. I'll look into it.

I got Final Cut Pro X here. I also picked up Motion 5, but have no idea how to use it. lol. It may be easier and cheaper to get a pro to make the logo for me. I can learn the rest as I go.

Nice videos by the way. I see your a gamer. C&C red alert was the best and I will always remember up up down down left right left right A B A B start start lol. If your getting Mortal Kombat X for ps4 look me up. Lionsgrip PSN.

I got the local designed by a pro too - I find the video editing is ok once you watch a few guide vids on YT. :)

Yeah gamer mate - not much of a console gamer though
