Has anyone else noticed that YouTube comments are not working?

NOthing is showing for any videos?

Last couple weeks in Aussie ... I've had to hover the mouse over or just scroll down to the comment section before it will even load comments ....

Is it maybe their attempt to streamline bandwidth by not auto loading the 'extra' bit till it's obvious you want to read them??
