I second the Friz about the typo.
You have nice sci-fi like effect on the background, try to stick with the theme of it. It needs some adequate font. Take a look on my background, it has asphalt/road theme so I have chosen grungy stencil font.
Use these for example:
http://www.dafont.com/dream-mma.font
http://www.dafont.com/ethnocentric.font
http://www.dafont.com/planet-kosmos.font
Dafont is great source for fonts, there are millions of them.
So,you have a nice font now, time to work with it a bit.
Your text, the name, keeps to draw my attention from videos. And your videos should be the priority, not the background. Why is that? It is too large and used effects are not helping either. This pixelated effect really looks like it's done in MS Paint (but I know EXACTLY what have you done there) and it is one of the reasons that disturbs me while I'm browsing the videos.
The next main reason is color. The background is toned in blue color. Play with custom colors and especially with layer style options. Also the sliders next to the layer style roll-out menu can help.
I will try to describe you what I would do (with respect to your Photoshop skills):
1) Choose a different, more themed font (you can use those I posted).
2) Make the typo smaller.
3) Get rid of the bewel and emboss effect. Photoshop newbies are using this effect often, but if not used properly, it can kill whole thing.
4) Set the text layer on "Overlay"
I would gladly make you a background but that wouldn't help you with your Photoshop skills
