Youtube "autonext"

Since when did YT bring in that automatic "next" video? The one where there's a big round play button and a cancel button?

At least it seems to refer your own videos next (as far as I can tell).

It's very easy to disable with a simple script, but it's annoying that I have to do this more and more on various websites these days.

Hmm, well that's not so good, just watched a video by Get Geared, and the next video it loaded was Jake the Garden Snake. Hmm, going to have a look if there's any settings for this.

One thing that will get annoying is when you scroll down for comments as the end caption slide comes up, you will forget about the cancel button and then loose what you were typing when the next video loads.

There's a button on the side of the recommended videos thumbnails for you to turn it off.

it's been there or at least half-a-year, I think . I always have it witched to off but boy it was annoying when they first introduced it ~

I was just making an observation, but when ever I'm watching videos on YouTube when it comes to an end, there is a count down then it auto plays another video, playlist or not, this has been around for a while. I'm surprised people are just noticing it.

May have been a gradual roll out. Normally when a video stops, thats it, other than about 9 tiles of videos I could watch next

IDK, maybe it's always been like that on my PS4 via the web or YouTube app. Tho if you move the joy stick it'll stop the countdown...

It really annoyed me when id start commenting and it would automatically skip!!! on my other computer it does not do it i don't know why but yeah it was a pain.
