Just curious, I have some music in one of the videos I did. How do I credit the artist and provide that little link to the right of the description box??

Lol...some music has zero tolerance and will be removed immediately. Your best bet is to look on YouTube for whatever song you're thinking about adding and making sure there are videos on there with that track to know if it's allowed or not. If you can't find any videos with that song, most likely the production company doesn't want the song being used or the song you're thinking about it too obscure. Is that the right word? Sorry, I'm a bit retarded tonight.

Okay, I see that people have it in their videos and have it credited on the right of the description bar. How do I do that?

You don't. Youtube does it for you.

So then, I just upload it and hope it doesn't delete my stuff again?? Do I have to buy the song from iTunes or can I buy it from Amazon? Or acquire it from other sources....

Nope, far as I know you just roll the dice. Though if you've found it elsewhere on YT and they're deleting it when you upload it you could contest it and include links to the other videos. It should either cause them to allow yours to stay, or delete the others...other then that there's not really a whole lot you can do.

If the song you previously used that got your video deleted is the same song you see in other peoples videos, then you're out of luck with that song. If it's not a song you have tried yet and you see others using it, go ahead and try it out, you may be fine. You do not have to buy the song. YouTube will just identify the song automatically if it's within their database and put the song credits on the side of the description automatically.
