Put my name down at the local yam dealer for a test when they are released.

Rode the r1 they had there just to get a feel for the engine.

I had a nice long chat (that "never happened") with a Triumph dealer here about the new Street Triple 800, and I think I'll be going for that over the MT-10 now.

I Used to only like fully faired bikes however now I'm warming to naked sports bikes I actually like the BMW S1000R over the RR

And after riding the R1 I could live with that. However I know I would do what would be needed to get it to R1 power. Much like I have done with the FZ.

Changing the crank shaft is not an easy job!

It's a new engine, much shorter stroke than the tiger engine and more in line with the stroke of the old 675 but with a bigger bore.

It would be horrible with the bore of the tiger!
