Winnipeg - Nova Scotia and back……kinda

In August I’m going to fly to Ottawa while a company I trust will ship my bike to the Ottawa Airport. I will then ride to Nova Scotia, spend 4 days there..then I’ll take 7 days to ride home to Winnipeg.
Shipping my bike to Ottawa will take 3 days off my riding time - important as I am still (2 years later) recovering from a bad m/c accident.

That sounds like it will be an amazing trip :-)
Fingers crossed! I’m just wrestling with the .gpx files that I have created…and trying to get the BMW Connected Ride Navigator to “see” them in the same way that I created them …I’ve been using Garmin Basecamp - but it seems that Basecamp and the CRN are not completely compatible..

How everything works out and you have a good time. I rode my first maxi-scooter from the Philadelphia area to Nova Scotia and to the Cabot Trail in 2019. Are you taking the ferry to NS, or riding the long way over?

I’m taking the ferry from Bangor to Yarmouth on the way down…and taking the ground route on the way home.

The Bangor/Bar Harbor Ferry was shut down when I made my trip. I had to cross from Saint John, New Brunswick. Glad to hear it’s running again.

The ferry isn’t any quicker…and is slightly more expensive than going around..I’m taking it because I’ve never done so and I want to ride from Yarmouth to Digby - which I’ve also never done before..
