Will You Be Joining Us For Sync The Planet 2016?

The annual world motovlogging event, Sync The Planet is happening on August 6th this year and YOU are invited to join us, no matter where you are in the world.

What is Sync The Planet?

Sync The Planet is a worldwide motorcycle ride (organised by motovloggers) where motorcyclists ride at the exact same time on the same day regardless of where they are in the world.

For example, Paris riders will ride at 12:00 noon, New York riders at 6am, Sydney riders at 8pm and so on.

Motorcyclists are welcome to organise their own local group rides, ride alone or join in with another already organised ride. So far, we have group rides in the UK, Australia, Mexico and New Zealand that have been organised, with many more to come.

What we also do, is then film our rides, vlog about a topic and upload our videos with a specific title and all the vids get thrown into a playlist that gets shared far and wide. It's great exposure for smaller channels, but there are also some larger channels on board as well.

I'd really love to see some people from this site participating.

Wow, that depends m8. I mean some people will end up having to ride in the middle of the goddamn night, or possible even during the middle of work hours. So I guess at most only 1/3 of any available motovloggers would be willing.

True. Not everyone is going to want to ride in the middle of the night. But there have been plenty of riders from the west coast of the USA for example in previous years who have joined us at 3am or 4am. And they will be back again this year for sure! Plus we have a few New Zealand riders joining us at 10pm. I'll be riding at 8pm which is not so bad and your time is pretty good too!

That's awesome! But you'll probably find that it is 6am and not 6pm. 6am is East Coast USA time.

The sync is to 12PM Paris (GMT+2) time, right? If so, it will be 6PM Malaysia (GMT+8) time, not 6AM Malaysia. Argh I hate time zones.

Also, don't look at the little flag below my avatar, I know it shows US flag, but I'm not in US. LoL.
